Sunday March 14th - 2010 St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival - The purpose of the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival is to provide our youth with an opportunity to learn, write, and speak about their Orthodox Faith, Church and Heritage. This strengthens their understanding and appreciation of their identity as Greek Orthodox Christians, and cultivates spiritual growth and maturity. Since 1983 the Oratorical Festival has provided thousands of teenagers the opportunity to discover the fullness of the Orthodox Faith! The Oratorical Festival Program begins at the Parish Level and is divided into three divisions: Elementary Division (Grades 4-6, not-judged), the Junior Division (Grades 7-9) and the Senior Division (Grades 10-12). Sunday School students will receive festival materials, including registration during class.
Registration Deadlines: 2/21/10 (Junior & Senior Divisions)
2/28/10 (Elementary Division) Please encourage your children to participate in this wonderful event so they may further grow in Christ. You email Dr. David Valauri, Festival Chairman, with any questions -david.valauri@mssm.edu
