We look forward to seeing you and your family this Friday and every Friday of Great Lent for “Lenten Family Friday’s”. We will be gathering at 5:00pm for our meeting which will conclude with a Lenten meal and Salutations Service to the Virgin Mary (Heretismoi). This week’s topic will be on PRAYER since we did not meet last Friday due to the snow storm and did not get a chance to hold our last discussion and meeting.
This past Sunday’s gathering was a great success and our young people were amazing with their help in preparing for the Midnight Run. They made sandwiches, sorted clothing and got things ready for the Run ! Our discussion time was incredible and we had the children ask questions that will be published in our upcoming GOCOOS KIDS Newsletter. It is wonderful to see how their faith and interest in the learning is so strong !!!
Several of our JOY/HOPE kids came on the Run as well and were a big help. We fed over 50 homeless people and brought them food, clothing, hot soup, blankets and most important, the Love of Christ !

Tuesday March 30th we will once again be visiting the residents of St. Michaels Home. We are scheduled to be at the Home at 1:30pm so we plan on meeting at 12:00pm at Church and be on the road by 12:45

Our annual Holy Friday Retreat is fast approaching. We should all plan on being at Church all day if possible for services, the retreat and to decorate the Church. The program will begin at 11:30 am and will conclude with Apokathilosis (Taking Down from the Cross) Service.
Our Annual Youth Ministries Picnic and BBQ will be Sunday April 11th right after Church…

April 9th we will be going to see THE 101 DALAMATIONS MUSICAL at Madison Square Garden. Please respond if you and your family are interested and for the cost of tickets as there are only a limited amount of seats available and we need to put in our order ASAP ! .
