Consider Your Stewardship

Dear Fellow Stewards,

Our Church community has faced significant challenges and felt tremendous pain during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has also provided examples of inspiring acts of love and compassion. We are called to be compassionate stewards, placing the needs of others before our own. Scripture is filled with passages of God’s call for us to be generous, loving, compassionate givers. Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians tells us of God’s call for us to “excel in the grace of giving.” Our parishes can be transformed, becoming beacons of Christian love as we care for one another, face challenges together, and serve our neighbors. We would be known as Christians by the love and compassion we embody as a parish family. The priority of compassionate stewardship is not to pay the bills. It is about how we, as a community, can do God’s work with love and compassion. It is less about the parish’s need to receive, and more about our need to give. It is our generosity with the gifts and blessings God has entrusted to us. Compassionate stewardship is an attitude and a way of life. Please consider how you can share your gifts on the enclosed pledge card. On behalf of Father Elias and the Parish Council, we thank you for your consideration. May the Lord of mercy and love bless you with every good thing from above.
Yours in Christ,

The Stewardship Ministry

Becoming a Steward

"Being a 'steward in good standing' involves abiding by the canons of the Church and supporting the Church via stewardship every year. A steward in good standing is allowed to participate and vote on important church matters including holding leadership positions and voting during Parish Council elections. To complete your stewardship, please complete a pledge card and send to the Church office. An electronic version of the pledge card is found below and hardcopies are located in our office. You can email or hand delivery your pledge to our office. Please consider your stewardship.
